It sure looks like it... I've never seen it in a set before, but I haven't seen every Castle set ever made.

I wish they'd skipped the prison door and given us dwarf-sized regular doors.

As I was looking at the picture of the Troll Ship to examine the door, I noticed something about the rectangular shields with the dark red/black background and troll skull print on them--they don't appear to have a hollow stud in the center. I looked at the other pics of new castle sets with that same shield, and none of them look like they have the center stud.

Also, yes, the shield is a new piece without the hollow stud on the front... there's one in the dwarf mining set so this is verified.

Yeah, I do like the tower shields without the stud in the middle. It looks much better. In fact, it makes a big difference. That, and the fact it doesn't have the KKI designs on it. That made me really hate this shield type. Now I love it.
The term "Hobby" allows you to explain to your relatives why you still play with toys...
