You were just waiting to hear that I had received it before posting, weren't you??
I'm glad you got a pic of it before you sent it off, I tried to take one to post but it wasn't bright enough outside so the pic sucked.
I think one of the best aspects of this custom is the helmet. Takes a second look to see that the helmet isn't official lego, but the top part of a bat-lord helmet and the bottom part of the flared nasal hemet. It all really looks great, I can totally see a small force of these warriors on a battlefield.

You have good eyes.Takes a second look to see that the helmet isn't official lego, but the top part of a bat-lord helmet and the bottom part of the flared nasal hemet.
That helmet is excellent, I love it, I wish I had 50 of them!
The naginata looks great as well. Where did you get the blade piece of the naginata? Thats not a custom is it? I thought I saw a piece similar to that recently, I can't remember where.

I know, I know! It's the scythe blade from the new castle series, with the clip pommel removed.Jacob C. wrote:The naginata looks great as well. Where did you get the blade piece of the naginata?
Love the helmet too. I immedietely recognised the batlord's helm; never thought of combining it this way though. Nice work all round!

Thanks guys! Those batlord helmet tops are great, I'm working on a couple of Ming-era pikemen with the tops of those and the bottom of a bullet helm...
Oh, and Emily, I cut the junk out of the top stud of the helmet so you could stick a single feather in there, and forgot to send the feather! A green one would look great, if you had some paint...

I like to use the Ninja sword as the blade portion of the Naginata.

That would be far more relevant if the topic were "how do you make a naginata blade."
