Looks pretty good. One question though, I've never seen that main piece that the minifig's hand would hold on to. What is it?

This is a creative use of that piece. I might have to borrow it for some goblin archers (the way I think this bow would look the best), if you will let me.
Great job!

The part in question is from the new Batman series of Lego...the pieces are pretty common in those sets...Thanks...
I was going to equip some of my goblins with this style of bow...now that I think of it it does have a resemblance to the bow that the uruks used on Boromir, in the PJ fellowship movie...any other thoughts?

I brick-built a quiver for the great bow...I like how the quiver can be slung over either shoulder, for left-handed or right-handed archers..I also like the color, Lego does not make black quivers...I think the quiver looks good with the great bow, they have a similiar feel to them...
Here are the pics.. .
An important note, do NOT try and make a hip-mounted quiver..the connector (the part in green) is not made of pliable plastic and will crack if you try to attach it to the leg piece...
Thanks, please tell me what you think...

The bow design is very nice. I don't own any of those chain cuff pieces, but I may buy some just to do this. It looks very good. But Lego DOES make black quivers, I have 10 or 12 of them.

I think both the bow and quiver look very good. I have tried a few things for a hip quiver as well. All failed so far sadly.
Nice idea!
