People think the funniest things.

I was browsing bricklink randomly because I was bored and found something highly amusing.

Read the guy's description. I want, by a show of hands (or posts as it were) who thinks the purple knight will ever be collectible?

God bless.

Link broken. But I doubt the Rainbow Knights will ever be that collectible.

Give it 20-30 years, and you'll wish you had MISB KK2 sets lying around...

Heh. I like this guy's take on the knights.
Kinda had me going there, making me actually feel a need to buy them, what with all that pep-talk. :P

I'm sure there will be plenty. After all.. Who could even be bothered to open the sets in the first place?

All fun aside, I have to agree.
I bet the KK2 Chess set would be quite a collectible item in the many years to come.

Need to do something

I guess if you bought a bunch of Vladek Encounters cheap in a clearance bin for horses, you have to figure out something to do with all those purple knights.

The minifigs had to have something to cure their boredom, it's going to be a long wait for a new home.

There are going to be a small percentage of AFOLs that may like these figures. Perhaps they will have devised a way or story line that would make them usefull. For me I haven't yet found a way to integrate them into my Castle legoverse but then I haven't given it much effort. There's no real need for me to anyway.

I think this seller is trying to pump up some interest into these items to get some LEGO novice to buy them. Kind of like a "used car salesman."
