Norman Castle Tower by Kevin Hall

Hey, take a look at this great castle by Kevin Hall! I won't say much more because I already said it on Lugnet, as you can see.

What sort of gate pieces did he use?

I think he means fences and not gates. It appears as if the windows are made from four of those 1x4x2 fence parts that have been around forever.

Anyway - that is quite amazing. I don't know if I even have enough parts to attempt something like that.

I notice that a lot of the grey bricks are different shades. Is this new and old grey, or are some of the parts faded or sun damaged? Or is it just the lighting? I notice it most in the second picture.

Wow. I am transfixed. The windows are awesome, and his use of the old and new light grey is superb. I do believe that this is proof that with a little patience and skill, the old and new greys can be used together.
