KK2 "Knights"? (how will you use them)

Post by Snoopy »

The KK2 "knights" are knights by apearance alone. I'd never knight one into my army. At best, they'd be emissaries from another kingdom. But, they'll probably end up in jail.

What do you think?

Mercenaries, my friend. They are too color-degraded to be in a regular army, so stick them in a ragtag, flamboyant merc unit.

I voted "other", because I would see these as parts fodder. All of my figs get torn apart and a torso is used here, a head there, etc.

I plan on using them for parts, and assimilated their parts into my armies.

They are definately going to stay on there own table. As far away from my classic knights as possible.

I agree, parts. Though if I had to make them somebody, I would make them jesters.
I build, therefore I am.

I do like the idea of them as Emissaries; Their outlandish color scheme is appropriate for a show-offish, snooty diplomatic type.

Ooookay. I know that not many people are going to use them. The question is: If you were forced to use them SOMEWHERE, where would they be?

Okay, if I was forced to use them somewhere, unmodified, on the pain of death, I should probably use them as an order of wizard-knights. Probably evil, too.

I said taking up space in a box. The heads and armor will find their way through the ranks, but unless I can sell the torsos etc... on Bricklink, the rest of the parts will be taking up space in a box. The visors are going on Bricklink too, but those will probably sit there and look ugly too. Its a shame the torsos are blank, I don't have a decent printer so a blank torso is a wasted torso.

I'll use their armors (at least most of them I guess, the cyan one is too shiny) with various other bodies for knights. Not too sure if I'll use their visors at all, probably will be stored in a box. I'll give them the more traditional visors I believe. Their faces not bad so maybe they'll be spred among knights and peasents. I'll don't I'll keep any of the flamboyant knights in their traditional LEGO way.

Yes, I think the KK2 Knights are knights. Some may have strange colors, but others will be quite useful. I plan to use the red, green, and definitely black breastplate armor for knights in my Arthur moc's. Actually, the colors will be very appropriate here. The helmets may not be used since they are oversized a bit more than I like.
