Too bad that the blue baseplate is no longer for sale. All I have is a small 16x 32 blue baseplate  . I am not worried about finding one, however, because there are hundreds of blue baseplates still in circulation on ebay, bricklink, and other places. Also, the blue baseplates must still be in production because they still come in new sets like Doc Ock's Hideout. Who knows, maybe Shop-at-Home might start selling blue baseplates again if enough people call up and complain.

I think the issue of the Blue Baseplate is it took too long
for them to sell out in the first place. when they are available, they don't sell fast enough to make it worth while, when they're gone, everyone wants them.

Personally, I think Blue Baseplates are vital to any collection, and I think its low for them not to keep them
available to buy seperately.
