The Reality Dysfunction

Post by Aliencat »

On a quiet morning in may, the people of Milegreen, a bustling seaside town, are rudely awoken by a sudden tear in the time-space continuum, paving the way for an invasion army from an alternative timeline that should never have taken place.
Hungry for a real life and driven by the fear of having to return to their non-existent dimension, these creatures fight with a ferocity unmatched even by history's most legendary warriors.

After no more than an hour after the eruption, our heroes, Professor Neilsworth, Jobasha the Cat and Mandy Chicago are pushed back to Northfall Road where they decide to make a stand, to buy the people of Milegreen a little more time.

A curious Aliencat peeks out the window to see what all the noise is about:

A Power Miner and a Rock Monster are telling jokes by the campfire over a cup of coffee, oblivious of the ruckus above them.

I like the little unrelated details a lot (the little rock raider bit). They're often my favorite part of a large MOC.

It is a great burden to me that I must inform you of this; however, it is my duty, so without further delay I must tell you... that this is win and awesome. :P

I love all the little details throughout, like the Rock Monster and Power Miner enjoying a cuppa together, haha. :D The nameless horror is well built, too. Oh, and the musket-axe is pretty much the best weapon ever. :tasty:

Brilliant work!

Well hey. This is a pleasant surprise. When I saw the first pic on TBB, I really wasn't all that enthused. Seemed like a typical 'Black Fantasy' MOC to me. But looking closer, this has a few really neat details. Very nice.

I love it. Very creative. Oh, and my HP Lovecraft enthused coworker liked it as well.

Cool. Yea, TLG definitely needs to add a Lovecraft theme. Today's youngsters should be exploring eldrich and forgotten kingdoms of unspeakable horror in their playtime, not stupid Harry Potter castles. :)

Very clever MOC. I really like the contrast between the blackness and reality. Just like it has been consumed by a shadow material. Nice work.

Amazing. I love the blackened building. I like how much of it you can understand by just looking at it, not alot of captions necessary. Another awesome creation by you.
