Falcon's Tower

Hi CC members, I would like to present my latest MOC called Falcon's Tower. Big inspiration from Noddy's prize winning tower from CCC2005 i think.

Thanks to all the feedback, I decided to rework the Falcon's Tower.

I have updated the roofing. It is now an eight-sided roof, added docks, and smooth stairs as well.

First pic shows the new roof vs old roof, much nicer to my eye anyway

*Drools all over keyboard* :twitch: *keyboard explodes* *buys new keyboard* *refrains from drooling again*
All I can say is, I <3 it! But, no interior? It would just be the 3" of icing on the cake if it had... Oh well. *starts drooling again* :twitch:

Very awesome stuff. Noddy's Tower of Brothers was also the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your tower.
The architectural details on this are great, and I also dig those trees. One thing I'm not sold on is the square roof on the tower, but that's just a nitpick, this thing looks great nonetheless :)

The whole thing is great, but those trees really stand out. Well done.

The trees look great, I especially like the trunk of the one on the right.

Thanks for the nice comments. I am thinking of working on changing the roof and adding a dock to the entrance soon.

Cheers

Very nice. If you do decide to change the roof, try a more rounded shape, to match the tower.

P.S. Hi, guys! my first post here, hoping to be only the first of many! :D

Thanks, I actually built the Tower on a 32 square base and stasked it on top of the 48 square base. First time I tried this and found it a useful way to build, definitely stable enough.

:)

I do not like the roofs. I understand the limitations you had trying to put a roof on something round, but this just seems like the easy way out. You were creative with the tower, why not keep it going and make the roofs round? It takes away from the MOC in my opinion. I'm not so sure I can buy a pine tree with a tan trunk. The path going to the door of the tower shouldn't be so bumpy. It should be well worn down.

Overall, it is a nice MOC. I would have liked to see you continue with the creativity and get a better roof.

I like this tower a lot. As others mentioned, the roof probably leaves some room for improvement, but all the amazing details that keep the wall surfaces busy very well make up for that in my opinion.

I also love your tree design and landscaping.
