2004 Set Preview?

Post by DawnCrusader »

Hey people!
I was just looking to this site "2004 sets previews" and this one made me wonder:
http://www.classic-castle.com/sets/imag ... k/8777.jpg

They actually have helmets like the old lego factions! Could this also mean the appearance of the common type of soldiers in the KK2 line? :D

Or am I just missing something?

Hi DawnCrusader,

LEGO kindly provided us with preview pictures of the 2004 sets. Two of those images (the ones with grey and not white backgrounds) are not final set designs, but they are prototypes. By accident, we got a rare glimpse at early designs for two sets. So no, older helmets are not being used for the most part.

Yeah....

This was Vladek Encounter before its KK2-isation.

Such a pity, this would have been an awesome set as is.

I think I'll go cry.
