1wave posted this architectural detail that I thought was really nice:

Very useful SNOTwork for us castle builders. So simple but so elegant.

Very nice. I've done this but I certainaly didn't go through all the trouble he did by actually connecting the studs! I just used a tile on tile friction connection and a technic axle in the bottom of the curved brick into the bottom of a 1x1 brick to keep it from sliding out. Great work here, some really nice tight snotwork.

Trust me, I think I'm funnier than you do.
Why do I have to add the word "minifig" to my spell checker every time I use it?!

This is a wonderful technique to create architectual elements. I have an additional suggestion to add to this technique. The BrickArms U-clip has been found to successfully attach plates in opposing stud directions. The basic idea instructions can be found here: http://forums.brickarms.com/yaf_postsm1 ... spx#158918

This would make the architectual element more secure.
