Well, I won't go so far as to call him "God", since I'm a Christian, but I will definitely say that Goldman is definitely the Takishi Itou of Ninja. What I like best? Hm...hard to pick just one or two things, but my favorite features would probably be the bridge and the inset fish sculptures.
By the way, I take no offense at Daimyo's statement; I'm sure he was only joking and I certainly don't mind.

Yes, I worried about offending someone, and am a Christian myself, but it is a purely comedic statement.Mr. D wrote:Well, I won't go so far as to call him "God", since I'm a Christian, but I will definitely say that Goldman is definitely the Takishi Itou of Ninja. "Alright Kif, let's show these freaks what a bloated, runaway military budget can do"
Yes, those 'wow-ed' me too. The landscaping is pretty awesome. When I see that type of stuff, then look at what I'm working on, then I think "why bother!"Mr. D wrote:Hm...hard to pick just one or two things, but my favorite features would probably be the bridge and the inset fish sculptures.
But I keep at it (because) I just gotta build, and (cue Franky at his best) I'll do it my way.

My feelings are pretty much summed up in the review I have yesterday;
I agree, there's just so many little details to take it. Remember that talent vs bricks discussion?...both indeed!In the first review it got I wrote:You've been a busy guy, Keith. Like usual, stunning scale and little details. I especially like the wooden bridge and supports for it. Very effective. Also, the 3 jutting out battlement areas in front of the temple-like area impress me. Looking at the pics again I noticed the brown doors used as roofing. How did you come up with that one? Gah, you have too many 1x2 grill bricks! Man, another one of those MOC's where you notice something new with every pic and you have to look at them all over and over to grasp the whole MOC. So much action and little details. Stunning work again, Keith! Ps: Should I bug you more for those pics you promised me 'next week' several weeks ago?;-)

I do not know the guy who did this, as it seems that everyone else does, but I really enjoyed the creation. The creator seems like he put a lot of thought into the building process of the fortress. I can not say there was anything I did not find interesting, however, as much as I loved the building, I did not really enjoy his humor (even though that has nothing to do with the moc).

Being a Christian also, I wouldn't call him God either, but I realize you were just joking around.Daimyo wrote:Yes, I worried about offending someone, and am a Christian myself, but it is a purely comedic statement.Mr. D wrote:Well, I won't go so far as to call him "God", since I'm a Christian, but I will definitely say that Goldman is definitely the Takishi Itou of Ninja. Great MOC. I saw it on LUGNET and was amazed. I love how it is all tiled.
