Awesome, that dwarf's shield is beautiful, not to mention that Sherlock Holmes is oe of my favorite book characters ever.

I'm pretty interested in the gladiator, that helmet looks epic!

Of all of these, the piece that intrigues me the most is the violin case wih the gangster. I can only hope that having a violin case might eventually lead to the logical inclusion of violins as a minifigure accessory.

I think many of us would be interested in getting multiple of the AMAZING dwarf and gladiator.

After that, I think the next most interesting are the Cave Woman and Egyptian Queen.

The boxer and gangster are pretty impressive looking as well, the rest I am not very interested in.

I think it's safe to say Series 4 had the most figures I wanted, about half the line or so.

Most others I was only interested in the medieval and horror themed figures, for the most part.

Not too bad a line-up here, though.

Actually, as I look more closely at the dwarf, I have an interesting thought: The dwarves from Fantasy Castle line were clearly depicted as good guys, but looking at this dwarf's scary dragon shield, black beard, and angry eyes - it almost seems like this fierce dark dwarf is meant to be an ally for the Dragon Knights!
P.S. If you need help making MOCs, making posts, or don't know what to do next, please, let me know! I'm here to help! ;)

Maybe he's just a different clan?

How could you forget the Canadian Lumberjack?

The axe is sweet and the beaver hat is awesome. :)

Heh, I didn't notice the beaver on the hat until you mentioned it. Next series they will need to do a Don Cherry. :D

Is it just me, or does the print on the dwarf shield look like Bowser from Super Mario Brothers?

I'm pretty excited about this series, I only picked up a couple from series 3 and 4, but there are quite a few from this series that I really like.

Not sure why but not a lot of this set interests me. I am looking forward to the dwarf and gladiator. I would not mind one of the Egyptian or the Monster Man. But that is about it. :)

If you want to read something interesting about the minifigs, pick up a current Brick Journal. They have an article with the crew that designs the mystery minifigs. They not that they were working on series 8 when the article was written. It gives you a good idea of how they progress though a series.

Hmm, for some reason this is the best looking set yet to me. The only ones I don't care for are the aerobics lady and the snowboarder.

I still can't believe Lego isn't releasing these in open assortments, or at least mini-fig packs. I think they're leaving a lot of $ on the table. (In my case, I would have purchased over a hundred of already released figs if I could choose what I get. As it is, I've only bought 2)

I have just checked threw all of the collectible minifig series, series 5 has 18 new molds(including capes), series 4 has 22 new molds, series 3 has 11 new molds, series 2 has 17 new molds, and series 1 has 10 new molds. That gives us a grand total of 78 new molds since last may  that's pretty impressive.

That's great news, if true.

Let the speculation begin!

There appears to be about 5 minifigs that are worth being "Army-able"!

Dang you LEGO! You keep taking back the money you pay me with these collectible minifigs! :roflol:
