Here is my 3rd entry for the MCC, Image

The great hall, kitchen, granary, barracks/stables, and church are all based off of those buildings in David Macaulays book, Castle.
I think you can see the improvement. I took some suggestions and switched the background color. Hope you like it.
The pictures have descriptions. Here is the link, http://www.flickr.com/photos/66620538@N ... otostream/

Any comments or questions are welcome.

Wow! Although it's an LDD MOC (I'm not a big fan of them), I must say that I like it a lot!
Castle is superb!

Thanks, I would have built it real but I don't have very much grey at all. I was quite happy with the way the castle came out.

Thanks, it took some time. If anyone would like to buy it, it only costs 550 dollars plus shipping
The MOC has 2569 parts.

I'd love to see this in brick! Great job with it! I'm especially fond of the little boat.

Yeah that would be pretty cool. It took me two or three tries to get the boat the way I wanted it, I had to do the sails a little differently then most people because I made it in LDD.

Yeah, I just got LDD a couple weeks ago. But boy does it make me mad that you can't do a lot of SNOT techniques  . but anywho, about your build, very good! I like the boat, the castle and the mountains and just about everything else! :D I did not know you could post LDD stuff in contests like this! good luck in the MCC!

This is nice, but I think it would look better on a plain (white or another neutral colour) background - at the moment the background is detracting from the presentation of the model IMHO.

How would I switch that?

you can either go to toolbox in build mode and click take snapshot and you will get a blank light gray background. the file will be called "LDD screenshot 1" Or to be quick about it just press control and k on your keyboard and it should tell you that you took a screenshot.

Do you think normal grey would be better? Or like a light yellow?
