CCCIX: Queer Lodgings

Post by Blego7 »

Hey all, here is my 2nd complete entry for the CCC, depicting Bilbo's encounter with the hermit Beorn, the were-bear. I hope you all like it, and please let me know what you think.

Wasp nest is the best detail on that very lovely creation.

Thank you! I must agree, though the credit for this may be referred to Siercon and Coral for their unceasing inspiration and help in the WIP pics.

Yet another amazing build. The details in this are stunning, and I am looking forward to seeing future Hobbit scenes. :D

Really enjoying your builds, this one is particularly nice. You've really done well packing tons of tiny details into the scene. Keep up the good work! :D

Another great creation Blake. I really like how smooth this one looks, despite being mostly shades of brown and green, there are a lot of great accents like the flowers that really make the whole thing pop. I especially like the house and the dog head was a nice touch. Good luck in the contest!

You really seem to be pumping out the Hobbit creations lately, Blake! Absolutely fantastic creation (and entry). The part that caught my eye would have to be the tree on the left. The trunk of the tree, and the shape of the leaves make it look really natural, as if it were a real one. :)

I'm sure you're working on more scenes from There and Back Again; can't wait for more.

Good luck!

Thank Matt, I was trying to aim for that lush flowery garden sorta look. Turns out having lots of bees around helps in the pollination
