Welcome to Classic-Castle. You just missed the Colossal Castle Contest IX, our annual big contest - the deadline to enter was December 31. If you check out events page. You'll see that we have other contests now and then throughout the year. You'll see announcements on the site front page and in the forums. The regular contests are the Colossal Castle Contest, announced each year on November 1 with entries due by the end of the year. In October we generally have a microscale contest. Many years we have a battles contest in the spring, though we haven't in the past couple of years. Other contests get sponsored by forum members in between. There are also monthly build challenges in months without major contests - not contests, just a suggestion that different people take on. This month it's dragons.

BTW, I'm shifting this post over to 'announcements.'
