LCC, Farewell to a lost traveller

Post by Elderon »

Hey guys,

First off, my sincerest apologies, for letting you down during the last three months. In my eyes there is little I can say to make up for how I abandoned you guys at the LCC.
The last couple of months I had a lot on my mind, I started a new full-time job and for some reason my girlfriend decided to leave me after six years. That last bit I did not see coming. At all. It did however, make me realize I had been neglecting my social life quite a bit. I hadn’t been spending a lot of time with my friends and I felt this had to change.
Sadly though this meant I had to put a few thing on hold, for just a brief time, I hoped. Now my hobby will always be Lego, and this will never change as long as I can help it. The time I spent on Classic Castle had to go down however, and I deeply regret that it did. Especially since I didn’t let you guys know anything about it. The urge to collect and build are in me still, thankfully, and they never fully left to be honest. However, I need to slow things down, and do them in my own pace and time. So I’m sad to say that I will not be an active member of the LCC anymore. I will still read everything and if it suits me and my imagination lets me, maybe join a challenge or two, but I don’t really think this is going to happen.
I poured a lot of time, imagination and most of all, joy in to the LCC. And I had a lot of fun with you guys, and most of you definitely inspired me. I still look at everything you build and most of them have gotten my fingers itching to build again, so I promise you that you haven’t seen the last of me.
So once more, my deepest and sincerest apologies for abandoning you guys like the way I did, I just hope you know that this wasn’t my intention at all. But what is done, is done and you just leave it alone and don’t regret it. I just hope that you guys will go on and have as much fun with it, as I definitely had.

So not goodbye, but see you later,

Elderon

PS I think I'll make some sort of build showing Velaryon and his friends leaving for different lands, to give my story a proper ending, so keep your eyes out for that

Hey Elderon,

Over these past 9-10 months that I have been involved with LCC and classic-castle in general I have enjoyed your builds. You as well as countless others have inspired me to take out the bricks and start building again, and for that I thank you! :)

I'm sorry that you have to go. Hope everything works out. Your creativity and building skills in the LCC will be greatly missed.

I hope one day you'll be able to return here and be able to share your creations with us once again.

Until then, Farewell my friend.

Until we meet again,

~RBC

Hey Elderon! Good to hear you're okay! I can totally understand time constraints! Don't feel bad! Hobbies should take a secondary role in your life. :)

I really appreciate the time you put into our project! I hope we'll still see you around here in future! :)

Take care,

~Mark

I'm sorry we'll be seeing less of you and your cool MOCs in the future, but really, don't feel bad about it. We all know that real life happens from time to time, and it's just good you're doing alright after all :)

So, best of luck onwards, pal!

Hey Eldoran Its good to see you are okay.

Well having not been involved in this project for very long there is not much that I can say other than you were a great FO to me you were very patient in helping and showing me the ropes and for that I thank.

And have no worries we all here understand that our real life's take first priority.

and with that I bid you farewell and wish you every happiness :D

Thanks for your work for Lenfald. Your MOCs will be missed, but real life must come first. Best of luck.
