Hey all,
Check out this great MOC, the
Legend of St Nicolas by Pif500. This is an entry in a contest on the French forum BrickPirate to build MOCs based on the folklore of Lorraine.

Wow, this is quite excellent! The stonework is fantastic. I am a big fan of how they did the very slight offsets in the wall with the 1x2 tiles. I like the window too.
You would rather be building right now.

Really like this! The rockwork and the olive green leaves are excellent.

That window is great! Did they use head light bricks?

^ I think it is just the underside of 1x1 reddish brown bricks.

Excellent, indeed! He did a stellar job creating so many small off-sets.

This is great. I have been wondering about that white hat with the red band. Does anyone have any info on that?

He blended the profile bricks into the wall brilliantly. I really like the sand green section and the house.

This build is absolutely packed with detail! I think my favorite is the donkey. Those ears are fascinating! I would be very curious to see a tutorial on it.
As others have mentioned the rock wall with the slight offsets is really impressive.
And I am of the opinion that fleshies with sand green go incredibly well together.
