The Grand Joust of Gisellicburg
This is a collaborative build by myself and my real-life Brother Steven.
Twas built as the final scene in our first book in our series, THE ANSELM SAGA, part 1 "The Envoy"
Learn more about it here!

Well, we were both very happy with how this one turned out! At 128 x 80 studs it the biggest build we've ever made! (In total area.)
We hope you guys like it!

Excellent work Mark and Steven! I love this every bit of this build. Creative use of the checkered tiles as backgrounds and a great sense of overall action with the riders and crowd. Keep up the awesome work you two!

Beautiful scene you have here really full of detail. You don't see very many jousting scenes. Well done.

Re: The Grand Joust of Gisellicburg
This is the best joust scene build I can recall seeing. (Is that a backhanded way of challenging someone to do even better? maybe ) The overall size combines with the attention to details to make a really lively and realistic scene. The kind of thing that should be in a store display or something. The eyes of children and AFOLs alike would bug out. Wish I had such creative vision.

Re: The Grand Joust of Gisellicburg
As always, a fantastic creation of such a large caliber. The little details here and there really make it exceptional, though.
Looking forward to see where this project is going, and I'll have to check out the Envoy.

Re: The Grand Joust of Gisellicburg
Awesome job to the both of you. I like the tents a lot. It's cool to see some familiar factions present among the joust participants.
