Hey all,

It's getting chilly, the leaves are turning colors, and I'm seeing pumpkins on every doorstep. You know what that means? CCC is coming! My favorite time of the year. The official contest announcement and list of building categories will come out in a couple of days.

Just a reminder - if you post something online or show it publicly at an AFOL event before the contest begins, you cannot submit it to the contest. So if you've been working on that awesome castle MOC for the past month, you may just want to hold off until Sunday to post it to your Flickr stream. I'm not saying to stay away from the internet for the next three days, I just always hate it every year when someone posts something awesome on October 29, and, since I know the categories already, I know that if they had waited until November 1 it would have been a perfect entry.

Anyway, that said, start sorting your bricks. It's time to build some castles!

Yay! My 1 year anniversary is coming up. Can't wait for the contest-- hopefully I'll fail a little less epicly this year, as my building skill has improves somewhat.

Yep I have a couple things in the works cant wait to see the catagories

And dont worry Brickninja, you didnt suck as much as me last year but I think I will be giving it a better go this year as well.

The CCC is our annual contest. You can build in just one category or in all of them (limit of two entries per category). Here are last year's categories[/ur], [url=http://www.classic-castle.com/events/ccc/view.cgi?contest=cccxi]entries, and winners. Every year the categories change, but they always range from the size of a single minifigure up to epic castles covering multiple baseplates.

If only I hadn't posted that Legend of the Seeker figure I could've entered that. The one time I don't procrastinate...

I'm very excited for this years CCC as I am for every year. Perhaps I'll get out the bricks and participate this time around...well see!
I've been itching to see what some awesome castle builders have up their sleeves. Building has been a bit quiet in the castle community of late so perhaps the contest will begin with a BANG.

wow. its been a year!? i havent recieved my package from brickarms for the medieval minifig figure prize. lol. anyway i will try building a small caslte fort, and start sorting out my parts too

Just realized the moc I am building for C4C is applicable to the misc. category.

We shall see how hard my classes get in the next few weeks, but I should be able to at least get 7 (Or 6 or builds up to enter for master builder.

Yes, I can't wait! I hopefully will crank out a couple builds for this, I am going to try and do a project in November for a special event in December that'll apply to at least the Miscellaneous category, so hopefully I can finish that.
