CCCXII - Emerald Creek Ruins

Post by Sir Valiant »

Hello all here is my latest build: Emerald Creek Ruins.

I was challenged to build a castle scene that did not include a border, something we castle builders usually always include.
I had built the base for this but really had no idea what to do next. After building a small part of the ruins I decided that it
would look best if the whole build had that ancient worn look. I'm quite happy how it turned out, especially the vine twisting! :)

Are those vines rubber bands? They look great! I also really like the irregularity of the border.

Likely the sprues from those larger 3-leaf pieces: Image

Thanks for the responses guys!
Yes, those are the vines/sprues are from taken from the large 3-leafed plant. Credit for the idea to even use the piece goes to Derfel Cadarn and his medieval village guide.
I am really happy with how they turned out!
