Blitzard 2.0: Elken Watchtower

Post by soccerkid6 »

This was made for the Blitzard 2.0, which you can see more info on here: https://www.flickr.com/groups/legocontestnet ... 958301812/
The stonework technique is made using half stud offsets, I posted a tutorial here: http://www.brickbuilt.org/?p=2207

This is fantastic! That stone technique makes me feel... I don't know I just get this weird sense of satisfaction looking at it, and how each individual brick clicks into place. There's probably a word for that but anyway....

Also your new website looks really nice! :)

Thanks frisky! I was pretty pleased with this stonework too, and I'm very glad to hear you like my new site format, just switched it over the weekend :D

This is pretty neat!
I am especially impressed with the moose-ogre figurine that you have, but, it's also intriguing to see the style of the architecture involved :)
Practically everything I see on CC.com is awesome, but everyone has their preferences, and, to me, this stands out a lot :D

Thanks! The Elk figure was greatly inspired by the one Siercon and Coral previously built :)

I really like the brick motif. I wish I had enough plates to do that!
