Favorite LEGO piece.

Post by Sir Vincent »

What is your favorite LEGO piece? The one piece to rule them all?

I'd say...1x2 bricks...since almost everything I build has at least one of them...

My favorite is the gray 1 by 2.

Followed up by black 1 by 1 (great for making tudor houses)

The 1x4 or the 1x6. The 1x2 fills in all the ends, and makes the tops of the crennellations, and 1x1s fill the cracks, but these are the two that I prefer to use the most.

1 x 4 all the way. But just as with everything else, you need all the other bricks to make them work. 1 x 2 and 1x6 in a close 2nd and 3rd.

I can't say that I have a favorite piece. A Lego piece by itself is a pretty silly thing; only in combination do they gain value and interest.

I find that I use 1 x 3s and 2 x 3s quite a bit; something in me finds the proportions of odd stud lengths more appealing than even.

I think the pieces that inspire the most creativity in my building are the ones that break the usual grid through either 1/2 stud offsets (I think my castle gatehouse uses more 1 x 2 plates with one stud than any other single part) or SNOT-compatible bricks like the 2 x 2 x 2 bracket and 1 x 1 brick with headlight.

Hello!

My favourite part just for the part being this part itself is currently a trans dark blue 4×8 plate. Don't ask!

Otherwise I like the jumper plate Image the best. It's called MOOT-plate (Make-One-Out of-Two-plate, or AZMEP in German (Aus-Zwei-Mach-Eins-Platte)).

I like the Technic half pins with the stud on the end.
1X1 rounds are also well used parts of mine.

My favorite piece would have to be the Light Grey 2x4 brick. I mean you can't hardly have a cstle without them. :P

Ooh...interesting question.

Mine would either have to be the 1x1 technic brick, or the 1x1 brick with studs on 4 sides. Now they just need to make a 1x1 technic brick with holes on 4 sides.

I don't have a favorite brick. I like the minifigs the best. Can be any kind, but mostly castle.
Even when I was in the hospitals, I usually had a box of the minifigs around me.
