CCC XVI-Old Man of the Mountain

Hassan-i Sabbah was legendary founder of the Order of the Assassins(also known as Hashshashin). From the mountain castle of Alamut, he sent assassins to eliminate his enemies, including both Muslim and Crusader leaders. Legends surrounding him say that he drugged his followers with hashish and offered them paradise for the sacrifice of their lives.
