Hi there. I really need feedback on this moc. It's a Senneboggen 835E Excavator and its actually the first Lego excavator moc I've made. It is fully functional and the cab raises and lowers like the real ones. They're used for handling scrap metal and for the ship loading industry. I'm going to order some pieces for it improve it, but I need some more comments to know how I could improve it best. What do you think of the cab? Do the crawler tracks look O.K.? And what do you think of the engine? Here is the link to the pictures;

I think it's a really nice build. But I don't know what I could say to suggest any improvements. Good job. :)

Thanks for commenting I really appreciate it! I was beginning to think no one would. I'm only a TFOL and I'm just starting out. Any feedback I can get is really useful. :wave:

This is really cool. I love all of the functionality, like that extendable cab. I was going to say it looks a little too smooth and not "gritty" enough, but doing a google image search on the real thing they actually are pretty smooth. I see a variety of models of the real one. On some there is a railing around the back of the main section so a person could stand back there. On some the machinery on that back part is raised up more from the green section. One thing I see in all of the models is more black cables going up the main arm and over the top of the elbow.

Love the end of the arm (insert Toy Story aliens saying "the claw!" here). It's a perfect solution in comparison with some variations of the real thing.

Thanks for the suggestions! I was thinking about adding in the railing around the back. But I couldn't work out what to build it with that didn't look to chunky. The claw/grapple piece was what inspired me to build it, something a little different from a castle.

MOCs like this are not my usual fare, but I like what you've put together. So often the construction vehicle creations have a very "Technic" feel to them, so it's nice to see smooth lines, etc. as something different.

Thanks for commenting! I always look forward to when someone comments one my mocs. I know how most machinery mocs are really technic-like so that's why I built it. Plus I have a lot of green bits that I usually use for around castles, landscaping, and contours, that I wanted to use in a different way. I also wanted to test out the grapple piece and crawler treads. Cheers. :)
