6085 Black Monarch's Castle : alternative model

It's an old idea I've had since I was 10 years old : How do you build the alternative model that appears on the cover of the Black Monarch's Castle instructions?
I tried several times and gave up along the way, because of certain proportions of the design.

Some time ago I came across this MOC (without realizing it was a MOC on the spot), which I thought was great. I wrote down the address and coming back to it later, it's great but... it's not the exact design, and that idea is still bothering me.

Now, since I have Stud.io, the original instructions in duplicate, a linen tester, I'm back at it seriously.
I think I almost succeeded, even if the design seems to me rather mediocre it seems accurate to what I observe on the photo and the parts in the inventory. The fact remains that I have no inspiration for the back and the interior. That's why I publish the result as it is. The fact is that the back probably has a large opening (based on the windows where you can see through).

If you have any ideas or modifications to suggest regarding the available parts.

I have collected the file and pictures here: http://lego.patatoide.com/Castle-6085-alt/

Thank you for sharing this nice alternate model build! From my experience recreating alternate box builds, the back sides of the models could be quite messy at times.

I think the designers knew the models only needed to look good from one angle.

Thank you for this comment. This model is indeed very messy as soon as you switch the angle of view. This is what frustrated me as a child, because I convinced myself that I was doing it wrong.

You've done a good job.
A lot of alternate models just look 'wrong' even if built accurate. This one look like its got some spirit

Now you just need to add on to it, and make it look better!

Thank you for your feedback.
I agree about the next step, but I'm lacking inspiration regarding the remaining parts.

Here is a rear view. I just made sure to keep it clean and consistent with the original photo.

I consult the forum to find inspiration for its design. A weapons room, a stable, a warehouse...

Do a laundry, or a herbalists apothecary, too many conflict based themes, need some of the more mundane parts of medieval life to add depth
