What?!? The CCC is being announced early!?!?! HOW HOW Hooooooow is this possible??!?!

It is possible because I'm taking over. I have some friends helping me re-vamp, re-new, and re-do.

The focus: Bring Back the Fun!!!!

With this, I'm going to be 100% transparent. We are working hard to get this up and running. The details are not 100% hammered out...yet. So while I am announcing, I would every so kindly ask your patient as it may take a couple of days to get details in your hands. The tech side of everything, well that I can not handle. I am not a programmer or coder. Everything might trickle in for a little bit of time. I do work full time and have other commitments, but I will do all I can to answer your questions as quickly as I can. My friendly helpers may step in to help in that way also.

The rules are being changed. Prizes may be different.

And judging is going to be handled 100% different with a time limit put in place of 2 weeks after the close.

Please be understanding.

What you do not know because this has never been transparent, my part of that is done and has been. And while I do understand and acknowledge your frustration, I am asking for understanding that this year will go differently.

I've always appreciated your work in the CCC! It's a great contest if it could be run smoothly. I'll be honest that I've disliked it in the past for what the judging has been like (more than the long waits for judging, which I could understand), but that's just personal taste and besides could be improved upon.

I'm all for it, here's a little encouragement !

I guess we ask questions here? For the scene from a castle inspired movie category, can it be a scene from a TV series? Or a video game? Thank you !

There is a question thread. I have answered this question there already. No a movie scene is a movie scene, not tv.
