Hey,

I'm assuming Bishons = Minoboys? If so, I just wanted to note that I really like that working windmill. The landscaping is good, so it's not just a flat scene, and the use of plant elements helps smooth out the hill and make it look natural, also the curve of the path. The SNOT work to make the lower stone portion, and the angled walls on the upper wooden portion of the mill have great technique, and the fact that it has moving parts with the spinning of the wind-vanes translates into a millstone grinding out the grain is super cool.

Sometimes I wonder why I post here. Nobody except Bruce says anything about my Mocs.

I know the feeling. Sometimes I think publishing something on the Internet is like throwing a bottle into the sea.
I learned a lot of things by browsing vintage websites (mostly about programming). I have returned feedback almost 15 years after the publication date, to the astonishment of the author who had probably put it away and didn't expect anything more. I think we should resist the rules imposed by the major websites that prioritize referencing and traffic to serve their own goals. (Leave a comment, give a like, subscribe, click the bell and share..)
It puts things in a disproportionate perceptive, and it has more to do with randomness than with the quality of the contribution.
Anyway, to end this aside, I want to say that I've come to terms with it by considering that I publish for the long term. Without despairing that the emulation will restart in this community. I guess it can be rebuilt gradually, with a little bit of time available from everyone.

Getting back to your MOCs. Did you finally reveal the mystery about this one?

I particularly like the detail of this chicken coop.

Also, the effort of detail in the mechanism of the mill (the millstone), reminded me of a memory.
As a child I visited an old paper mill (based on a water mill). In the car on the way home I imagined how to reproduce this mechanism in Lego, and inevitably when I got home I rushed on it. Well, I had switched to technical Lego at that time, and I didn't really try to make it beautiful in detail, but it was a great feeling to be able to reproduce this feature. Essentially, it was a bin used to crush fibers to make paper pulp (cotton paper / rag paper), with a battery of alternately operated rammers. I've had a look at the links, and I have to say I really enjoyed the designs of your castle builds! Their shapes look sleek and elegant, and I like the textures of the walls. The castle on the waterfall is gorgeous and so is the border pass, with its angled walls and the beautiful arch above the entrance.
The dark tan terrain inside the waterfall castle may benefit for a bit more details, but on the border pass, it's top notch. Same for the roof of the timber frame part, I find the roof on the newest MOC way nicer than on the older one.

I'm eager to see your next MOCs! Will you participate in the CCC?
