Second Chance for the Ideas Viking Village

Lego is running a vote to give rejected Lego Ideas projects a second chance. One of the potential sets is the Viking Village by BrickHammer.

I'm excited. The Viking Village looks great and I voted for it. The mini-golf looks good too and I'd be happy if it won too.

I voted for the sea life, but I'll consider buying the viking village. The golf course certainly looked cool but I'd never have bought it.

21343 Viking Village is up on Lego.com. Release date is October 1, $130 USD. Practically a bargain compared to some of the sets that have come out lately - I'll definitely try to swing the budget for this one.

Definitely looks cool, I love all the angles going on in the base. I don't expect tot pick this up, but you never know.

Since it's not an IP licensed set, hopefully all the good bits will end up in the online PaB at some point!

The actual set is more colorful and both versions look good. Not even sure which one I prefer when it comes to color scheme. Positively surprised about the price, but don't know yet if I'll buy it. Could say it's high on the list though.
edit: actually big majority of it are the same colors, at the time of writing this I just failed to see it

I had a blast designing it, hope those of you who get one really enjoy the build process!
It felt super surreal to work on an official LEGO Castle product more than 10 years after joining this forum as a young castle fan
I also tried to make sure it's a great general medieval building parts pack for reuse in MOCs
