Software for lego projects

Post by albero78 »

Hi all
Long Time ago I was using a software to do Lego projects. As I've been out of Lego (was it called dark ages?) For a long time, I would like to ask what is the best software to use in 2024.
I remember there was also an official Lego one that was neat (Lego digital designer I think was the name). Does it still exist?
Please advise me!

I've had that old Lego Digital Designer on some older computers and the last one I believe I downloaded from a third party site... I don't think it's a thing anymore

Bricklink has this one https://www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page and I think it's what pretty much everyone uses? I downloaded it before I otherwise got back into Lego (so just like with LDD). I haven't used it for a year at least but it had and probably thanks to regular updates still has literally everything.

edit: oh yeah I just checked and now remembered I used hours and hours planning a moc just so when I finally decide to really get back to Lego, I would do it. The file is from 2020...
