Heh, how many millions would it cost tlc to buy the rights to produce the Hobbit as Lego? It'll never happen. That thing is a hoax in my very humble opinion.

I'm sure this is a hoax. why would Lego make Hobbit Lego when they didn't do it for the for the other movies/books?
if they did do it, TLC would probaly make it looks like Harry Poter any way :?

Well, the Hobbit always seemed to be more for children while Lord if the Rings was more for teens and adults, so it would make sense for TLC to do The Hobbit instead of LotR.

It looks like a hoax anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

I dunno, LEGO doing not only a Hobbit set, but a Hobbit MINIFIG set? Those are pretty rare! Still, we can only hope that your joke will influence reality.

Fake!

This has got to be one of the worst hoaxes ever!! For one thing, the Gandalf included in this "set" is GANDALF THE WHITE! Sort of silly, seeing he never appears in the Hobbit.

I mean, if your going to go to the trouble of making a fake, at least be true to the source material!

...And when is the last time you've seen a set that includes only 2 figures and no accessories (ie small cart, etc...)!Finally, this set includes no new bricks, and the minifigs are yellow, not flesh-toned. This just isn't believable!

I am surprised that anybody could fall for such an obvious joke. Silly stuff.

Later.

Since this is a fake, it obviously doen't belong in LEGO Castle Sets, and so I am moving it.

*sigh* I was almost ready to believe that, but then found it was a hoax. Still, we can only hope Lego will do something like this someday, somehow...

Can someone blow up the pic? It's too small for me to see clearly.
