Hey all,
The main MOC here is the very cool train stuff, but more relevant to castle building, check out this
tree design.

That's original for sure, not sure I like it though. I'm more into "brickbuilt" rather than "technicbuilt"

I just can't get myself to like this tree! Its well constructed (like almost everything Ben does), but it just doesn't look good. Something about this use of technic doesn't sit well with me. It is an interesting experiment though.

That's a weird idea, it looks pretty good from far away, but I don't think it looks very good close up.

Hmm, it looks more like abstract art than a tree to me...

Hmm...I have to agree. It's a very ingenious idea, but it looks a whole lot better from far away. Close up, it just doesn't come together in foliage. Still, if he had lots of those lime green connectors about, that's a good way to use them.

Hello!
That's an interesiting design, indeed. I agree this tree looks probably better from a distance than in closeup. It somewhat reminds me of those old granulate trees from the 70ies.

It certainally is interesting. It is a good use for useless technic parts. I have to agree that it doesn't look to treeish though. Still, one or two of these wouldn't look bad in a forest.

it is unique, but I'm not sure if I found it on my own, I'd know it was a tree.
