Set 5998 "Vladek"

Post by Jojo »

Hello!

Is this set already known of? I strongly suppose there are at least/at the most five sets of this kind but I only got this one, and I still don't know anything about it.

 mmmm!

I got a similar sized one (5994) from the LEGO easter basket at Target in the US. I certainly hope this means LEGO is listening to us about getting some smaller sets. At $2 a piece I could see myself getting at least ten of any set like this.

Do you have any guesses as to what other sets exist?

Where did you get this one?

Johnny Thunder... heh heh heh...

I HOPE we can get packs that size!!! I don't know why it's called "Vladek", but I do like it, and I would definately buy it by the armloads (poor kids, what will be left for them... )
Knight Templar

Who/what does this fig represent? It has the body of a Shadow Knight, but the face and helmet of an Elite Shadow Knight, with the sield of Valdek. Weird.

Still, the more generic soldiers, the better!

STRANGE fig, but I'm loving that set. I only hope it proves to be available around here in some way or another (preferably a cheap way), because I haven't seen a polybag around here in a long time... :(

Hmm...most intriguing. I don't think I'd fork over $2 for that, but if they ever went to the price of the mini-ties, I'd buy a shipload.

Two observations/questions:

First, what did it cost? If it is not too expensive it would be a good way to stock up on shadow knights and old school helmets and weapons.

Second, "Vladek" looks an awful lot like Johnny Thunder. Maybe it is his evil ancestor?

I would think they cost 2$, which is a lot for one guy, but I still might get a few if they're sold around here.

I know you qualified it. :) I'd noticed it had been mentioned several times, and was just wondering where it came from.
