Post by kingkastle »

Well here you all are. Steve as requested ive taken pics of all the figs. not many pics of the sets yet . Anyways ill take more pics when i have the time. Just a thought but i think the new euroarmor designs can be used as elite Knights of each faction (wolfpack, forestmen, black falcons...) As for the elite shadow knight speckled armor , it looks fantastic doesnt it? Well ive got to be on my way so heres the link when the folder goes public. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=130831

That looks very cool. Does the armor feel "smooth" like other armor, or is it rougher.

Ugh. I don't like that axe. And not sure I like the armor much either. And those red doors, don't get me all tinglely either. I'm getting a little disappointed with Lego again.

Thanks for the pics, KK.

*sigh* Why did the Vladek heads have to be used for the Elite Shadow Knights? The Johnny Thunder heads worked fine. I don't see the need for this change.

Me likey it all. I knew the result would be this (yes, I HAVE been studying the fortress a long time). And its overall neato. The speckled armor is awesome, the helm looks coolest. Just a question, what is beneath the armor? Is it a blank torso or a Shadow Knight print?

I dont give a Megablocks about clones. More cranky old men faces are good for troops, and I will make them individual anyways.

I think the armour looks great! Too bad there isn't an older style visor to go with it.

The axe looks OK, I'm not sure I like it as much.

The doors are great too! I can always use more, different colored doors.....

That axe would look pretty good if it were just "uncovered" in an archaeology vig....

So does that drawbridge work alright? We haven't seen one of those since KK1!

The new armour looks decent enough but the axe should have been left unpainted.
Those red doors can be useful in town buildings but definitely not as the entrance to any castle or fortress.

So what do you need al this "time" for? Building and playing with all those sets, no doubt :P

Interesting optical illusion, the armour, helmet and axe look textured. Until it is answered, printed or blank torsos for these lads?
