*eyes widen* Call me skeptical (I am), but where did you find this? This sounds like excellent news… LEGO got the incredibly obvious notion to release the Vikings in the U.S. as well.

:D

lets just say TRU threw a coniption fit so Lego gave in and the theme will be a TRU exclusive in the US barring Lego S@H sales.,furthermore on the brickforum i have made another post in regards to a very big event planned for this year to celebrate Legos 50th year of international Lego sales.

Blech... I hate TRU. Though it will be nice to have these at retail so I can take a closer look before buying them.

I read on http://www.thebrickforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=137that Lego will be selling a cache of old sets from the 70's to celebrate their anniversary, but it did not say when it started. Does anyone know?

Interesting find, but I won't believe it till I see it. In the meantime, I'll keep checking Ebay.

Darn...I wish I had a time machine so I could go back a year or two to rob their warehouse in Enfield.

Wait a minute...that means that all those dreams I used to have, about finding old lego sets stored away, were actually visions?! Now that is scary...

Josh

PS. I am glad to hear the Vikings are coming to TRU. I have some friends (normal adult types, if there are such a thing), who don't buy stuff online but wanted to get Vikings. They will be really happy.

TRU doesnt always have the lowest prices when it comes to Lego, but they are comparable. SO this might just save me a two hour trip, aside from an excuse for my wife to go see her sister..
so I could stay home and play instead :D

Rick's info is realiable. He was the first to tell me of "Roman style" shields coming from Lego a few years ago and whalla, out came KK2 with their octagonal shields.

*wonders what the title of the thread will be if the new Castle theme was based on Zhong Guo (China) rather than Scandinavia....*
