Wild boar hunt
Admittedly not much of a MOC, but the real focus is on the construction of the boar himself. The idea came into my minds eye oneday. I built him and then threw together this little scene.

very nice idea well presented too. just one suggestion though, the piece used for the ears of the boar, if replaced by a 1x1 plate with vertical clip might look even better (in my opinion). I'd find a picture of the piece but us CC'rs should know what im talking about (that and I tend to be feeling quite lazy right now)
well I would at least like to think that I'm evil...

kingcastle, yes that clip may work better (being the same clip that I used for the boar being "tied" to the pole (right?)). It is difficult to get the details right in the minifig scale of things.
I was trying to get it to scale with the dogs, minifigs and horses, which is why it is only 1 wide.
It is dealing with these sort of limitations that make me want to revive the "cows, pigs and chickens" discussion.

That's a cool boar. He looks almost too thin though. I think he would look better two studs wide. The use of minifig hands is cool.

That boar is the answer to all my problems, well, maybe just one. I like how it is the same size as the dogs. Thanks Troy

"Me thinks we'll need to catch two of these beasties sire"
"Yes they are very thin this year, please have Wuthers put out more grub for them from the kitchen scraps"
"but sire that were MY dinner..."

Great little beastie! I like the design, especially the snout and tusks.Wild Boar - Size: Length of body and head: 90 - 180cm(3 - 6 ft): weight: 50 - 200kg.

Fantastic boar, although I agree with the suggestions for the ears and making the little guy two wide.
And darn you! I'm going to have to go Bricklink a brown dog now. Grrrr...

Hey Troy,
I didn't get the chance to comment before. Very nice design. I think if you incorporated a 1x1 brick with studs on all sides you could fatten him up with some plates on the sides. What I really like is the way you can connect clips to do this:
