Is it just me, or is lego getting worse as the years go by?

I am only 13, but i have been looking at previous sets versus the new ones, and i have to say that lego has gotten horrible. I mean take a look at the KK2 joust. Two knights bouncing carts off of each other?!? What happened to the old lego with swords and dragons and good castles that weren't just a wall on a baseplate.
Time to go nighty night mister west.

I think LEGO hit a low spot, but they're climbing up the hill slowly. Vladek's Dark Fortress was a big improvement over the previous offerings, and the newest knights are the best looking since the introduction of KK2 (Dark Green Knight Rules!).
And when you look at all the other sets LEGO is producing, I have a lot of hope for the company. The Designer/Creator sets are some of the best sets LEGO has every produced, IMO.

They are getting back up on their feet if KK2:3 and the King's Castle is any indication. The Vikings so far are the best looking Castle-related minifigs I've seen. They're ALMOST historical. Nip the horns and you have a cool Viking or Norsemen.

I agree with Tony that TLC hit a low point, and them is starting the slippery climb back up. It is going to take a while, but they are getting there(and the space re-intro was a leap). All we can do is sit in the stands and hope that our favorite gladiator will not slipa dn fall into the lion pit.

To tell the truth, this is the first time in maybe 7 or 8 years that LEGO has put out so many sets that I *REALLY* want that I can't afford to get them all! Granted, I've spread out beyond just Castle, but I can't even afford all the Castle/Viking sets I want. Not only do I have to save for my sets, but I may have to pick and choose what sets I get and which I never do.
Oh the humanity!

They might have hit a low point, but look at BaTP or any Viking set. Those are all amazing sets, with great figs and parts. And good actual models. Or, look at the Aqua Raiders pics. Great greatgreat great great. And I agree with SavaTheAggie. Go Kentis!
