I was a bit hesitant at posting this, as it's not completed. However, It's not going to be completed, so what you see is what you get.

this is amazing. i would seriously buy something like this. you have amazing snot elements and little arch details. i love the designes on teh walls and the tower spire thing looks awsome. interesting iron grate for teh gate. again i really like teh snot work at teh base of teh wall and would love to see some detail shots of that without teh wall on top.

shame you wont finish it as i am sur eit would look fantastic

good luck and happy building

There is some crazy SNOT work here Ethan! The whole idea is great and well implemented. It has a very organic feel, but with the man-made qualities still present. I'm not sure how you did it, but you did. It's a shame you aren't going to be completing it.

It's got a very unique design to it. I don't recall anything that looks anything like it. Much better than any of the official "Forestmen Fortress" sets.

This very cool. The construction is... interesting, to say the least. I really like the plants both inside and outside of the walls, which by the way are awesome. However, it's a little hard to see some of it. If you haven't taken this apart yet, a few shots zoomed out a bit to show an overall view would be nice.

This is beautiful! My only complaint is that every one of your pics is a closeup, no real overall shot. It looks pretty darn refined for an unfinished piece, what exactly were you planning to do to it before you called it finished?

I'm amazed you just posted this as an MOC, I'm sure it would take the cake for the CCCIV Fortifications category...

Cool

It's funny you say that... I was going to break it so I could make my CCCIV entry.

I might keep it up and going, but until now, I'd lost interest in continuing. I'll get some more pictures up and see what I can do...

I saw this on Brickshelf earlier & I have to say the mottling on this MOC works so well. Great work with the colours & buckets of detail. You should enter this anyway as you can make 2 submissions per catagory, I beleive.

This is a very impressive MOC. I'll study it in detail later to learn some of the techniques you used!

Even though its not finished, it still looks really good.
I'd definitely recommend finishing it!
