Two CCCIV Customs. (Black Falcon & Falcon Elite)

Post by Lamanda2 »

Since I seem to have misplaced my decal paper I could not finish my true custom entry, so I have just decided to enter my second entry along with a Black Falcon I created a few days ago.

First up, the Black Falcon Knight. (Now this is a true Black Falcon. )

Next, the Falcon Elite.

Thanks to Jared Burks for creating & printing the excelent Black Falcon decals!

Comments are always welcome. :)

I'm not really much for the first one, since it is all black, however it does seems well done. The second one is really amazing, though. Where did you get the paudrons?

He got them from Brickforge.

Anyways, my favorite is actually the first. I would have preferred a blue torso myself, but as always it is the creator's choice.

The second is awesome, but it might have been cooler if some of the Pauldrons, Vambraces, and helmet were black.

Just my opinion,

Thanks guys!

Deathwalk- Thank you. I really wouldn't say it's 'perfect' though. :) (I don't like the way the barding came out..)

LewsTherin- Thanks. For the sheild I painted it all black, then I painted half silver and gave it a Falcon crest decal in the center, glad you liked it!

Kelderic- Thank you for the nice comments. BabyJawa is correct, I purchaced the pauldrons, great helm, and vambraces from BrickForge(MCN Store, Redbean, whatever. )
The sword is a Little Armory piece.

Zach-
She got them from Brickforge. :P

I have some falcons with the blue torsos, but I just wanted to create an all-black Black Falcon- Just looks snazzy! (IMO)
I bet that the second one would look cool with black gear instead of silver. Why didn't you give me that idea before I entered him!?

Fantastic works. Falcon Elite has to be my fav; excellent paint job, and the silver/black shield where the silver actually blends into the rim of the shield making it look as a solid piece (as opposed to a decal) is an excellent touch!

Two great custom figs. An army of about a hundred of the knights and about ten elites would be one of the most formidable in the classic castle world. 10/10

on it's own, the Black Falcon looks great, but that Falcon
Elite is fantastic. The shots where he is on the horse make
it seem like they in motion, the sparing use of the silver
makes it a more polished end product, and I think it still
looks good even without the helmet on. :)

Of special note, I think those bracer things on the arms
are really cool and can't help but think that a Boba Fett
would look good with something along those lines.

Nick- Thanks for the comment Mr. Great, I'm glad you like my figs.

Spongey- 100 Knights and ten Elites? ...I love that idea, now I just need to muster up several hundred dollars. :P

Soratu- Thank you! -and I agree completely, the vambraces would look excelent on Boba Fett. (I wonder if anyone has tried that out yet.)
