A cockatrice problem

When Aron and Widogast (the monster hunter) met in the Golden Crown Inn in Rindael, Widogast made a deal with Aron (who is known to only go after dragons) to hunt a cockatrice, which is best described as a two-legged dragon, wyvern, or serpent-like creature with a rooster's head, so at least part of it was a dragon.

"Drinks on me when you bring me a cockatrice head." said Widogast.
"Only drinks?" asked Aron.
"Well, you may keep the bounty too." replied Widogast "or are you afraid of it?"
Aron: "No way, I'll get you that cockatrice head, I am not affraid of some chicken."
"Okay, deal, may luck be on your side then." said Widogast jokingly.
"Ha, where I'm going I don't need any luck." replied Aron.

A cockatrice was recently spotted on the border of Faldia and the Daelen near the Whispering Woods.

Aron's preparation included polishing his armor, and putting a special mirror coating on his shield. But when he finally reached the place where the creature was spotted, he couldn't believe his eyes, no report made mentions of the size of the beast. Trampling the fence near the path, the beast almost was the same height of a nearby tree.

"That dammed Widogast, he knew the size of that beast, I'm sure of it..." thought Aron. "Well, here I go..."

Guard Bat

This mighty bat guards the black falcon's castle, perched in a doorway. With its massive ears, no-one can sneak past this bat! And with its sword attached to its back, any who are heard will be quickly added to the pile of remains at the side of the doorway.

The wings are sails from the 10320 Eldorado Fortress, the nose is made of sausages, and the ears are capes from the DnD Halfling Druid CMF.

Hippocampus and Poseidon

The Hippocampus had the head and upper body of a horse with the tail of a fish. It was able to swim across oceans and gallop across sands. The Hippocampus is typically seen pulling Poseidon’s chariot or, as in the case of this scene, with Poseidon riding it bareback.

Reepicheep

Reepicheep the Mouse is a fictional character in the children's fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis.

C.S. Lewis is on of my favorite authors. Have you never read his books? A good resolution for 2025 ;)

I prefer reading books far above watching movies, so it's based on my interpretation of the books, not others ;)

This is what Wikipedia says about Reepicheep:
"Reepicheep is described as a "gay and martial mouse",[1] about two feet high when standing on his hind legs,[2] with ears "nearly as long as (though broader than) a rabbit's";[1] small Talking Beasts in Narnia are very much larger than their "dumb" counterparts.[3] He speaks with a shrill, piping voice. His fur is very dark, almost black. He wears a thin circlet of gold on his head, with a crimson feather.[2][4] His weapon is a rapier."

Thorn, the Seed of Rebellion

Before Lord Grimclaw’s reign truly crumbled, a spark of defiance ignited deep within the forest. Thorn, a young badger with a spirit as sharp as his claws, dared to challenge the boar’s tyranny. Alone against the might of Grimclaw’s forces, Thorn became a symbol of hope, stirring whispers of rebellion among the oppressed creatures. He sabotaged supply lines, freed captured animals, and spread tales of courage, inspiring others to rise against the tyrant. Though his efforts may have seemed insignificant at the time, Thorn’s acts of defiance sowed the seeds of rebellion, paving the way for the eventual downfall of Lord Grimclaw.

Winter Guardian

Emerging from the swirling haze was a creature like no other, eyes blazing red with a malevolent fire. Its massive wings unfurled, sending shivers down my spine as the very air seemed to freeze.
