Hi everybody, I'm really happy that everybody so much enjoy this debate. Beside a week in London and a week in south of Spain, I havn't been to Europe, so I hardly saw in my own eyes real castles (only on books and movies). I'm a history freak and I now history pretty well though I never studied his...

Hi everybody, I think you are missing the point. This poll is not choosing your favorite LEGO castle. It is choosing which one looks the most like a real medieval castle. As Ben said, not your fav. castle, not the color of the castle and especially not the faction. Try to imagine the castle as a lif...

The most authentic-realistic medieval castle TLC ever made

Not much to add to the subject really. I disqualified all the fanatsy castles (6082/6097/8781/4709). Also take into consideration that the color is less effective, I mean if you think that the most realistic castle is the yellow castle but it's yellowish bothers you then think of it as gray or whate...

Hi Jojo As for the Falcons it's not that obvious, though... However, a yellow-white flag might have looked quite mean, so maybe this is the reason why they decided on green flags instead. Well come to think of it... don't look bad at all http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/irod/Misc/shield/blackfalcon...

2 questions regarding 6073 - Knight's Castle and the BF

http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6073 1. Can anyone give me a reason (TLC or historic) why TLC made the gate there red? 2. How come the flags there that were Green/White converted in the 6074 - Black Falcon's Fortress became Blue/White. Back on those days (1986), when me and a friend of mine, lack of be...

Right now I am just happy that King Leo's Castle does not have any votes.
Yeah well I doubt that it will get any. Is the reason 8781 not in the list at all because we know in advanced that no one will vote for it???

Geek - defiantly! Even a computer geek. I work as a embedded designer though I promise to quit as soon as TLC will hire me (lol...). I played D&D along time ago and I'd probably still play it if I had with whom. As not as other "Geeks" I hate reading and I love TV though all that I wat...

Well the only reason I think I was even considering buying 8779 was those shields but now it seems that this set is really useless. Probably one of the worst castle sets TLC ever made. I hope next time TLC will consider making a jousting set, they would give up the idea and release 6060 http://guide...

I'll have to go with 6090 - Royal Knights Castle. I know that you refers to it as a fantasy castle and it had too many parts that not really suitable to make something other then that castle, but I really like the way it looks. If the question was for parts reasons only I'd probably go with 6081 or ...

I got the Maiden Cart in 1986, when it was just come out. It was my 4th Castle Set. I really like that cart back then and in my opinion it's still the best small cart TLC ever made. Others said that the entire focus on that set is the maiden minifig which is probably true, though since it came out i...
