To Whatever End 1-3
Greetings CC! I haven't been on any forums in a while as I have been busy at work and working with my wife to write a series or fantasy novels. I have started a project that will culminate with 8 builds to be displayed at Brickcon. I wanted to share the first 3 builds here with you all. Home of Daro...

Re: Simpsons collectible minifigs published
I agree. I was hoping we would see more waves of the CMF series as with each we received some fantastic fantasy and historic figs. at $4 it becomes cost prohibitive imo. If it works, more power to them, but I wont be participating. I also do have to say that as much as I love how they are making cus...

Re: Bricks Cascade 2014 Castle coordination thread
I am bringing Rivendell with Alice and Also that Pirate Moc and the CC moc I built. Pirate moc is about 2.5 feet x 2 feet and the other is a 48x48.

Re: Patience, Contest Results, and You
I don't think you guys are taking that cat seriously enough. I think they brought up great points and while they greatly appreciate the work the admins do, they feel a part of the community and want to help improve the process if possible. I get what Jordan is saying about losing momentum; After a ...

Re: History vs fiction vs you, mundane vs fantastic
I choose all of the above. I love to build anything that looks interesting or challenging or something I haven't seen before. Typically I lean towards the more fantastical, but I think that is because you can bend the rules a bit when it comes to architecture.

Re: Some statistic about CCC11
Thanks for the graphs Bruce! Great info. I am somewhat of a newbie as I only participated this year and last and have been around CC since 2010, so there is a great deal of building that I have missed. I know for me personally, I was so burnt out from Brickcon and with increased demands from work, m...

Pirate Rock
Hello CC! I originally intended this for CCCXI secret hideout, but the project was way more ambitious that I originally anticipated. I reached roughly the halfway point during the last week of the contest and had to decide whether to rush the moc and make something slapped together and not represent...

Re: Some statistic about CCC11
Thank you sir, good stuff! Are there 100 less entries this year as opposed to last year? For my part, I simply had less time to build, but I would have been able to put out 6 at most given my build speed. Just curious if that was a big fluctuation from last year. Seems like we have 27 less people en...

Re: How to acquire large amount of Lego?
I definitely feel you on the brick acquisitions. I didn't know what Bricklink was until I after I had done my first Moc (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4743854). Certainly I think I have an advantage as I have a Lego store nearby, but I think your brick availability has steered you ...
