Re: Your proudest moment
My proudest moment is likely when My contest entry got me to the second round and was actually popular (being fairly unknown on MOCpages means I don't get a lot of comments). Not an amazing achievement, but still. My other proudest moment was probably related to either my Castle or a Space MOC, but ...

Re: bionicle problems...
Yeah, I've had this problem. With my brother's recent acquisition of Stronius, which is a great set, most of the joints are cracked. Which really sucks. Meaning I can't use them much before they actually break.

Re: Stretching your brick collection
I usually have problems like these. I never resort to "cheating" with TECHNIC bricks, because interiors are often more interesting. I don't have a HUGE LEGO Collection (about 250+ SYSTEM sets, 140-150 TECHNIC sets-mostly BIONICLE) so I often run into problems. I can't buy large quantities ...

Re: Your LEGO budget
My budget used to be whenever I got money, so I had spent a few hundred on LEGO in a few months, but being a TFOL I needed to save money so I now have 34 a month, any leftovers spilling into the next month. I'm earning more though, so I'll probably increase the budget next year. It's been hard thoug...

Re: How do you efficiently clean your LEGOs?
I recieved a bunch of LEGO from a friend and a huge portion of the parts were dirty. I only cleaned the dirtiest, but I just tried to wash and wipe-sometimes soap. My cat also pooped on some LEGO, and I left them in a sink with detergent for a day then dried them off and repeated if the poop still r...

Re: Lego Games: Part Packs or Actually Games?
I have minotaurus and it's not bad but LEGO games aren't that great. They are useful for parts though, and have a lot of similar parts-if my brother lets me I'll probably dismantle it for the lime green walls.

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?
There's a complete retail catalog online, and there isn't Kingdoms in the Winter catalog. Maybe there will be one in July, but I'm hoping they do something with fantasy.

Re: In Need of Knights and Weapons/Armor
Depends what kind of knights you are looking for. If you're looking for newer stuff, the Kingdoms battlepacks are probably your best bet. You can get them at Lego S@H online or in Lego stores. They go for $15 each in the US and come with 5 figures each, making the figs around $3 each, plus you get ...

In Need of Knights and Weapons/Armor
I don't have much of a castle collection (more town and space but just about every theme in small quantities), so my knights collection numbers less than 20 (most of these are too different from each other to really work together-I have a few Royal Knights Soldiers, the Morcia Knights, 2 Knights Kin...

Re: My Castle (It's not finished)
I do like what you did with the baseplate. Using those raised baseplates and making that look good is kind of a lost art. I like the placement of the drawbridge between the gate and main castle as well. Keep going! Thanks! I started with the idea of a moat, and the baseplate looked perfect for it. ...

If nominations are still accepted, Royal Knights Castle (6090). It has loads of great features, awesome baseplate, cool parts, great guys, and a lot, lot more.

I don't have either, but the Royal Knights Castle is really nice too. I think the Monarch's Castle looks better though.

Re: What were your first Castle sets
The Shell Promotion for 1997 with the Bat Lord and the Catapult. But my first real remembered Castle set is the Knights' Kingdom book, and the first LEGO Castle set that I remember getting was the Castle of Morcia. My favorite, however, is my recently acquired Royal Knights Castle.

My Castle (It's not finished)
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/225442 http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/53136/1284242850m_SPLASH.jpg This is my Castle, which is unfinished due to a lack of parts of the correct color. It was going pretty well, with the drawbridge being the best part. In front is a gatehouse, through which th...
