Re: CCCX Medieval Life - Ye Olde Winery
I like the usage of the 1 x 2 plates, etc. in making the stonework, it has that rough look that I often forget to emphasize when building walls... going to have to use some of that in my next project. Overall, great feel - quite lively! What kind of wine(s) does it produce?

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
I guess I'll have to read all of this in order to avoid redundancy! I forgot members aren't just lords... I still haven't decided what character to make into my sig fig, as I have many choices within my own lore... I'd be interested in helping develop the map a bit - not necessarily saying anyone ne...

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ
I've been mostly inactive for years, but would love to get some serious building in soon before I move away to school. I haven't yet read through all of this thread (you guys type too much!), but I can say this sounds like what I've been interested in working on - building around a collaborative lor...

Re: Mini Houses Collection (NOT MINE)
Those are some interesting houses, but most of them don't look practical for my tastes. A few are pretty solid.

Well hey I'm always a fan of anything Army of Darkness, so keep up the good work. Might just have to rewatch it and build something as well!

Quite impressive! I like the windows, I may have to use that idea, though I am curious what was done for the stained glass windows.

Re: Building a large caslte display, tips are very welcome
That sounds very epic, not to mention incredibly expensive! I've been wanting to include space in my own castle project for garrison quarters for hundreds of figures and 30-60 horses, but I've found it to be far harder to fit that many in without expanding the size of the castle to immense proportio...

Re: Castle sets going away so soon?
Haha perhaps I have been, I've not checked anything but Bricklink. Anyways, based on the photos in the other thread, it doesn't look like there are yet a very good assortment of figures from the LOTR line... I know it's just a preview, but I'm skeptical that LOTR would be a suitable replacement for...

Re: Castle sets going away so soon?
LOTR LINE???? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME - as long as it isn't going to be in that craptastic flesh color... I swear if they ruin another potentially great line with FLESH again I am going to slam my head against the wall uber hard. Lego and their lust to rid the world of purists... On that note, ...

Re: How many Kingdoms minifigs do you have?
I'm not sure, as I almost always buy torsos, helmets, etc. separately and integrate them in whichever way I feel is necessary, but I believe I could probably field anywhere from 2 - 400 figures at full mobilization if the threat of war became that severe. I have not taken pictures of much of ...

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
A fleshy castle line REPLACING the regular line? This is both thrilling and disappointing... I may only be able to use half the torsos they release, etc., depending on if they make torsos with open collared shirts and such... ugh. I'm not inherently against fleshies, but you know, it's either ...
