Shadow of Flame

Alright, I could have posted this with my cave troll, but when I realized that my folder was now public, I thought I'd better post it now. Here is my Balrog attempt using the same design I used from Apophis V's cave troll. I'm not happy with the horns, but when I tried brick built ones, it just didn...

Cave troll modified

Hey, heres my attempt at modifing an awesome MOC by Apophis V. It's a Cave troll with a wicked club that I made about a year ago. I intended to cut up my old pair of tan cordoroy (sp?) Dickies to use for a loin cloth but our camera broke before I could get to it. Have a look. http://www.brickshelf.c...

Figs to go with my stickers

Ok, so here are some of my minifigs I made with my stickers. I had intended to take more pics, but our digital camera broke last weekend during a photo shoot. I blame it on the barbarians, but it was probably the Bishop Basil's dark magic  So here we go: Two barbarians: http://www.brickshelf.c...

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like them. The background is from the Lego Studios Set, (the big one with the camera) g2. I was going to post some pics of my sprint cars today, as I had taken some pic yesterday. Sadly, our digital camera has malfunctioned and I lost my pics. :( I was really looking forwar...

Mechs anyone?

Though I'm not a big fan of mechs, I couldn't help but to make a few using non castle pieces and the basic instructions from the Uplink set. My fav is the green one. Easy and entertaining none the less. What do you think?

This MOC is great. I always liked MOC's of inns. The character of it is apparent especially the pic with the guy and girl talking by the well. It has that "I don't want you to go". "But I have to". feel to it :( :)

Thanks for the comments guys. Fragile was the word I was looking for in describing why the game did not operate properly. :x I was so proud when I created it and hoped it would spawn an actual set (hopefully in affordable sections) to the public. As for the teams, I wanted to make a league where the...

Lego hockey

When Lego produced their original hockey line, I thought it absolutely stunk. Then they produced a lame attempt to recover with their relaunch a year or two later. I attempted to make a rod hockey game, complete with Lego themed teams. The game sadly did not work properly due to the fact that the ax...

Well met. Congrats to you for having a supportive wife and good luck with your home. A word of advice though, don't over spend on your hobby because you have more room. Too many have fallen to the evils of economics. But on the other hand as someone who can relate to having a supportive wife ...

My answer would have to be, which faction don't I like. But if I had to pick I'd say Crusaders/anything Lion Knights mainly because of the King's Castle...6080 I think? My first castle and near the beginning of my introduction to minifigs. Next would be the Forestmen because of my love of Robin Hood...

Modified stickers

Here are some stickers that I modified using templates from Anthony Sava, Joey Finnel, and Armothe. I know, "you should try Kam's water slide decals", but I can't figure out how to modify his, or even download them....or trust my patience with them. Here are the links (If they work): My av...

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I think you all will like some of my creations.....if I ever get them posted. I love that there are other adults out there who do more than just "build" with their Lego, and it just baffles me that younger members who don't remember the golden age of Lego cast...
