Shadow of Flame
Alright, I could have posted this with my cave troll, but when I realized that my folder was now public, I thought I'd better post it now. Here is my Balrog attempt using the same design I used from Apophis V's cave troll. I'm not happy with the horns, but when I tried brick built ones, it just didn't feel right, plus I could only make them in black and the affect was lost. The wings should be either larger or brick built, but I don't own the larger ones (yet) and I was to lazy to try brick built ones. The flaming mowhawk on the other hand, I'm really happy with. He's not perfect, but I like him. I may still tinker with his design. Tell me if this one "SHALL NOT PASS" or does pass the test of coolness

With that gut,big head, and man-breasts(blech...), he still looks to much like a cavetroll. Other than that, neat! I especially like the firemane!
Cool, just needs some refinements, "Imo".

...and that's how Equestria was made!

I like the fiery mane of the beast, just not the rest of it...
If you can, just keep rebuilding and adding parts to enlarge the size of the creature.

After further review (and input from some of the great members here), I'm gonna have to change him up a bit. He needs whipped into shape, that beer gut has to go and I'm still not sold on the horns and wings. His size is almost scale to the film and I'd like to make him more like that version without getting too involved. He also doesn't have a part yet in my story, so it may be a while before you hear from him again.

My sugestion would be to smooth him out slightlu, but the details are very good, especialy the flaming hair. Very demony.
