Re: New Takeshi Itou - Canal Castle

I love the canal idea. There are some aspects that are really fleshed out well, and the action of the scene feel authentic. The inclusion of the monastery is a great idea that too many builders ignore. I kept thinking the walls on either side might have a secret compartment, but looking at the inter...

Re: Mixing factions

I keep my post-KK2 figures separate from my pre-KK2 figures. I don't think the styles match. I'm working on a story to explain the difference. As for the KK2, I keep them in a ziplock baggie and rarely do anything with them. Makes me wish I'd saved my money and not bought those sets. Steve Posts li...

Re: Nuremberg Toy Fair: 2011 Kingdoms Set Pictures

Nah, I mean, these fan manips look good and all but I still don't buy it as "official news". J/K, in all honesty, how can we not look at these sets and think about how closely they resemble the fantasy sets that we spent so much time proposing and discussing!? TLG really came throug...

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?

I'm willing to bet there is no Second Kingdoms Wave. : | **Admin edit** You've been around long enough, JP, to know better. There shouldn't be any talking or even hinting about the leaks you've seen. Not everyone knows or wants to know. Fair enough, I was just being impatient and ornery. :sly: I do...

Re: The elf!

There is a ninja line already slated for January 2011, Its already on TLC's website.... not sure about the hula girl, unless they do a island vacation set for city though. Heir I read the animated "teasers" for the ninja info on TLG website a week ago. I'm excited about the line, and defi...

Re: The elf!

OH MY GOSH!!! Is this a joke...is someone pulling my leg??? OR, is the speculation from the last few years ACTUALLY true?! AND, if so, that means the elves ARE delving back into fantasy land, MEANING kingdoms is a pseudo continuation of the skellies/orges/crownies... : O Rivaling the late-80s era a...

Re: Infernal Equinox

This is just GREAT. I love the bizarre, the strange, the cultish ideas and concepts. The side area with the sacrificed pigs is especially eerie and downright frightening. LOVE the rock formations. Definitely playing with many mythical elements of European folklore, well done!

Re: MOC: Welcome to Brickmoor

I love the classic castle influences. Specifically, the merry men trap door is cool. They seem ready for a siege or jailbreak, one. The drawbridge and exterior bridges are also nice touches. Finally, the checkered panels on the floors and/or windows are cool in a more simplistic yet authentic way. F...

Re: Silver Lake Fortress by Brian Corredor

This construct is awe-inspiring! Congrats and kudos to a phenomenal job well done. I can only fathom having the means to create such a large-scale model. I'm especially excited by the subtle accuracy of the waterfront dungeon escape/back door. Very very strong structural design.

I was following those links, and that "brickcon" pic of the jesters is EXACTLY what I'm talkin' about, brotha!

The traveling troupe can't be stopped!

And NICE set! Very cool. Love the waterfall, mini-bridge, and landscaping.

Re: Second Kingdoms Wave?

Seeing how most countries have only just started getting regular supplies of kingdoms in the last month.. I figure the earliest we will see wave 2 is July. .. But they might surprise us with something like a MMV [well I can always hope lol] Great idea about the Scottish Highland village ... but I d...
