The telescope feature is really quite nice. Looks Leonardo DaVinci-ish.

Reasonably simple, VERY awesome. I love the embankment, bridge, the crisp, stately walls, along with the well-conceived telescopes. Very nicely done.

And yes, I'm sorta back, but this post made me come out of lurker mode...

You love those rounds don't you?

Seriously, your improvement is insane. Nice work, as ususal; but I don't think ground is green underneath
(but to get techical the ground underneath isn't yellow either).

Great job! I'm probably going to try my own hand at a round tower with my castle town. I'm contemplating building a small fort/castle out on a rock off shore...

Great job!

All I can say is WOW. I love the octagonal shapes, and the tower is really tall and awesome. Nice landscaping, and nice little details.

I like the round towers. . But how do you make round towers? On the side note I like the lanscape you offer around it! Also just to add wasn't the telescope invented in 1608?

I commented on your HP entry and I don't really know what to add actually. How many times can one say awesome? ;)

The use of round bricks and goblets in the towers is brilliant and something I really have to use. The use of slopes and texture around the windows is brilliant as well.

And what more can I say..? Nice trees! :)

The octagons are done with brick hinges, I used rows of 1x1 rounds to try & hide the gap. The Observatory is actually only attached to the base by a 1 x 8 section, I used tiles under the structure in other areas to make it look "attached"

I forgot to give a nod in Brody's direction for giving me the idea to actually make a medieval observatory, although mine pales in comparison to his in terms of size ;)
Thanks, I'll have to try that one day.

Towers are my favorite architectural structures. This one is astounding. The construction is very beautiful as is the landscaping. Im am curious though, how did you start the bases of the towers? Are they not stuck to the board by chance or are they slightly raised off of it?

They are actually set on tiles. Only one, 1 x 8 section of the main tower is actually attached to the landscaping - the front door section.
