I absolutely love it! Not only is the terrain good, but for anyone that has read The Hobbit, it's a perfect Lego rendition . For those of you who don't know, there are people in those barrels, and the one on top of a barrel was pushing the others into the water, so he couldn't get in .
What a great scene! I would have recognized it without knowing from the title. I love those green hills and using the containers for submerged barrels is a good idea.To me, the only thing lacking is a little more variation in the landscape. More flower stems, some rocks or dark green patches would really add some spice to an already great MOC.
Overall, looks great!

Nice work, Josh. I love your "barrel" solution, & those green hills are great. I have been afraid to try a green hill in fear that it wouldn't work but you have just shattered that stigma, my friend. I agree with Rock that it needs a little more sculpting. Also I think those trees would look better with black cylinders instead of brown, but cones would be even better.
I love that chapter of The Hobbit (still freaking out about the big news! Check out www.theonering.net if you don't know- the Hobbit movie!!!). Bilbo's face is perfect! Great terrain too.
I think the eyebrows clash a little with the black hair but it's no big issue.
The SNOT water (man, has that come into fashion?) is well done, and I for one actually like the lack of mess on the hills. They are fine as they are in my humble opinion.
Good work!

Very nice, I have to agree the hills could be 'sculpted' a bit more, but that is a minor point. It is a well done rendition of the scene I had pictured when reading the book.

What an interesting scene.
Its a good thing he's passing through a wilderness setting and not by a populated area.
My guess is that this scene comes from The Hobbit (got that from reading everyone else's posts) or its depicting a guy trying to escape from a nudist colony. Either way, its a great scene!

SNOT Rivers = Awesome. This is a scene I would have never thought of doing myself. Great job of thinking of it! The Hills are great, and overall its great.
