I have also seen this design before, but I'm not too fond of it. It looks nice in the pictures, but when I tried it myself, I thought my knight looked more like a robot than a medieval warrior.

Did you put the flume thing on top? What torso did you use?

I can't remember which torso I used... it's been quite a while. I did try using a plume.
I don't like how the back and sides remain open.

It looks like the light reflector dish that you get with the LEGO Light:

One on top and one on the bottom of the figs head. Pieces are kinda expensive, like 40 cents each.

No matter what I do, I don't like this helm. It looks great from the front, but with the gap in the back and on the sides, it looks silly from every other angle.

Thats fair, I have not made it yet, does anyone else have helmets?
